Childhood Cartoons

Hey there, the word cartoon show excited me, even more, to write on.

So that’s why I thought to keep cartoon music in the background.

And it’s amazing right now to share something interesting with you.

Coming to you, which cartoon show is your favorite of all time?

Like you literally keep things aside to watch such tv shows.

The cutest, the beautiful & the funniest cartoon. From where we all somewhere around tried to copy several characters in real, hahaha.

Can you feel that?

There are lots of people who still love their cartoon shows.

But it’s quite strange to know that they think they are missing them.

Besides, are you from those families who never had a T.V channel back in their childhood?

If yes, then the same pinch buddy.

So, it might seem like, such people didn’t get a chance to watch cartoons, isn’t it?

Well, here’s how I was watching cartoons. Stay there dude, it’s funny. And also idiotic, haha

Till I remember, every 3–4 months, my mother used to go to her mother’s home (My Nani’s home) along with me.

I am always excited about this.

There was a T.V. channel and I can watch Doraemon for an entire day until we get back home.

Like every time, we stay there for at least 3 days.

And I never go outside to play with society kids.

You know I’ve excuses —

I’ve no T.V. channels, better let me watch some cartoons, especially Doraemon.

Moreover, almost all the new episodes of Doraemon were coming on Monday having the cool name as DoraMonday.

My cousin brother told me about this on DoraMonday.

And on Monday from the morning, 8 am to an evening at 4 pm, I lose myself in the Doraemon world.

Yes, we both watched Doraemon millions of times together.

So I can say that I had two options to watch Doraemon.

  1. Nani’s Home.
  2. Cousin’s Home.

Guess what? I try my best to visit my cousin or Nani on Monday.

Because you know what I mean. Hehehe.

Before the internet occupied our space, there were DVD’s and VCD’s, remember?

It was with almost all families.

I used to be thrilled every month.

Why?

By arguing with my parents to buy me cartoon episodes of Doraemon (Yes in DVD)

And I know they were so hard to convince.

Damn but still I was having it once or twice a year, lol.

I literally watched 30–40 episodes multiple times which were covered in 1 DVD.

When the internet came across, gradually the watching time of Doraemon was reduced.

Argh! It’s obvious because there’s unlimited access to infinite content of any topic.

Oftentimes we lose the importance, eh?

But still, whenever I visit any relative or Nani’s home, I try not to miss Doraemon.

And seeing me watching Doraemon, many relatives had told me in a serious tone to stop watching silly shows.

Like, they say, “You’ve grown up, stop it now.”

I doubt this. I don’t know if I’ve grown up or not.

But by watching cartoon shows, it doesn’t make any sense we are just kids. Everyone can watch it joyfully, what’s the issue?

Beautiful Cartoon poem
Written that few weeks back

You know what — It’s so grateful to have cartoon shows.

And in the end, the same people say

“We miss the cartoon shows of our generation.”

It’s 100% understandable that cartoon shows stopped airing at T.V. channels, that one might miss it.

But not in today’s era of the internet, what say!

We have got an option to watch it again, not only multiple times but also every time.

If we are missing childhood cartoons, then it’s not childhood.

We still have a source to watch it again.

We are missing something else.

If I miss childhood due to Doraemon, then I’m not missing childhood.

Yes, I still have a source to watch it again.

We all have access.

Somewhere around many of us have symbolized the cartoons with the age.

There’s nothing to do with it.

So, some questions are better to stay alive forever.

Just like all previous chapters, I want to ask it again,

“What Is Childhood?”
